Editorial assignments often feel like a game, none more so than those where the timer is set to a mere 15 minutes with your subject. Despite the speed at which an image can be captured, it seems once the camera hits my face the seconds speed by ferociously...
In order to feel you've done all you can within the allocated slot it requires an assistant with :
common sense, stamina, calmness, integrity and decisiveness.... oh and it helps if they wear the same clothes as you too....
(Mr Harper and I have coincidently now showed up wearing exactly the same jumpers on several shoots now, which leads me to believe he is either a great fan of my attire and has followed my trends closely, or the team Pannack uniform has come to light freakishly organically....)
Dancing between masking taped spots we shot the lovely David Nicholls ( who at first glance of the name I thought was my childhood crush Paul Nicholls.. those curtains won my heart...)
David was a pleasure and I can proudly confess we fed him his first ever scone... treating our subjects with only the best props he willingly chewed through the dryist looking Sainsbury's basics scone none to mankind.
So here's a snap of the helping hand that made the day fun, ta Mr Harper... xx
