so I am super excited as The Impossible Project have kindly agreed :
"our history making, analog venture will be happy to provide you with the range of our already exisiting and upcoming instant film materials in order to show what's possible with them and that there is a choice next to all digital options as a change."
woop de woop.. so now time to play! I 've attached a couple very old polaroid I took when at uni and I think they're pretty much the only ones I ve taken.. so now to continue. I shall be exploring a few different projects which I am very excited about.
But wait the joy only increases as I shall be sharing the adventure with my great friend John Hyde (www.jonathan-hyde.com)... Jon is beautiful and like a child caught in a beareded and well dressed mans body. I'm really looking forward to working with him and we ve already had some exciting thoughts...
What a gorgeous day back in the ol town... coffee on Jon's balcony after a tour of his incredible new nest which would make anyone agoraphobic.. the most overwhelming room of beautiful objects curated in a humble abode...you lucky boy.. then off to lunch with my mentor and old time inspiration/idol Simon Roberts and his gorgeous wife and baby and then a visit to Adrian Turner's studio who kindly lent me the machines for the project. I must admit his treasure cove of cameras was a treat, lovely guy and much appreciation for his genorosity and kindness...then a quick coffee with Ewen Spencer ( a gem of a chap who I will be sure to keep in touch with)...so the rationing of film, organization station of the project and the fun will soon begin... x
