Image of the week... another naked treat and a fab review of BJP...

Firstly about the image..

This is James . What a lovely guy, very very very patient and down to earth. He was calm and really quite relaxed. We discussed his nerves beforehand but in no time at all and a lovely mug of tea he was naked in an unfamiliar enviroment with a female photographer he'd met only 20 mins prior....my thanks too James and to Chris for the crack based coffee that I am still currently weening myself off..

There are many things I have been thinking about with regards to improving and developing my YBN project. Firstly I really want to present the subjects honestly and reflect them..not just their nudity; to capture the moment and where that individual is ,not just physically but mentally and emotionally.

Secondly I want to vary my content as well as increase it. Since first concentrating on the project seriously I have avoided bedrooms as a location whenever possible as I don't want the images to hold any sexual connotations.. however it is imperative to me that I am presenting the truth. And for a lot of young naturists the sanctuary of their bedrooms is the place that they feel most comfortable and spend most of their time in the buff. ..hopefully my awareness of this will mean that if there are opportunities to shoot elsewhere I will purposely choose them... so anyway here's James..

A slightly longer post than usual as rather than just chuck another naked pic up I'm gonna vent a few things...

Now I'd like to say thanks and congrats to BJP... As I walked into my agent an enthusiastic Bridget shoved a copy of the latest BJP in my face and shouted "Look have you seen this?".... shocked, I snatched the double page bleed and gushed... so ta guys I am delighted...

On a similar note that evening I went to the launch of the new monthly BJP... The event was wicked with ample amounts of free booze (always goes down a treat) and many a great folk who I haven't seen in a while, I had such a good night. Plus, I self consciously flicked straight to the feature on my work in progress YBN to read the interview. 2 features in 2 current BJP's... what else can I say than how honored and grateful I am to Simon, Diane and all the gang at BJP for being so supportive and generous.

Everyone I spoke to commented on not only what a great decision it was to go monthly but how brilliant the mag looked and the amount that is in it. I am genuinely impressed and think they've all done themselves proud...

Right,rant over... x
