With hazy heads and weary bones after a few too may glasses of vino the previous night we decided the perfect remedy would consist of fog, hills and a roll of 120 Reala.. My wagon climbed the hills of Brighton as the cats and dogs plummeted down and we drove until inspiration struck.
Mimicking the roller hockey scene in 'Waynes World' we dodged camouflaged cars and embraced the torrential rain and mist. I choose the orange bag as a prop as in fog it is easy to lose a subject to such beautiful but very flat conditions, which often like many other things just don't translate onto film. Lushly soaked but nattering we climbed back into the warm hub and bobbed back to the reality of a sulky Sussex town.
I have no idea if these work but Jonah was the perfect model; free, expressive and most importantly himself. i look forward to another adventure with a great photographer, friend and subject... xx
